Why are peppercorns so helpful?
Black peppercorns do not just add to the taste of a dish but it is also a rich source of so many minerals and nutrients. As Luke Coutinho points out, just some pods of it can get rid of a migraine as well.

Heating it in ghee or soaking it in water overnight or even adding it to your foods can be a good remedy for treating a headache which refuses to go. Peppercorns contain an enzyme known as 'piperine' which is anti-inflammatory, which cuts down on the swelling and also gets rid of the pain in the affected area. Hence, it is thought of as a natural painkiller.
